A Success Turn Around Formula That Works
By: Harrison Barnes

Career Mission's Chief Executive Officer, A. Harrison Barnes, in a webinar revealed incredible secrets of transforming from a loser to a leader and discusses the importance of having self-confidence and taking control of your life.

Life does not always run smoothly and people are faced with a multitude of problems every day of their lives. Problems are upsetting, they confuse you and it’s but natural that you withdraw. This act of withdrawal is extremely harmful and leads to unhappiness, loneliness, and a sense of defeat. It is most unlikely that in this state of mind a person can be successful in his or her career. But is this how you would like to stay for the rest of your life? Harrison believes that you need to possess the ability to cope with problematic situations and issues. You need to turn your life around and do so fast if you are not reaching your full potential. You need to stand up and start moving with life again.

Harrison believes that there are two very simple steps to handle such situations. First, you need to get control over the most out-of-control elements in your life, by focusing on one area at a time. Identifying and taking control over the most problematic areas of your life will empower you to take control over all the other areas of you life. Fix these issues and everything else will fall in place. Second, you need to become as extroverted as you possibly can. Self confidence Harrison believes has the power to influence the course of your life. Step outside of yourself, stop focusing on yourself, and interact with the world around you. By doing this, you are bound to reach your full potential. Do not hold yourself back or separate yourself from the world, but instead look at the world around you, be an important part of it. Doing this can make an incredibly profound difference in your life.

Forbes Reports 151,352 Layoffs for January Itself; Employment Authority Proposes Alternative Job Search Approach

Pasadena, CA — According to a compilation by Forbes recently, there were 151,352 layoffs at America’s 500 largest public companies in the month of January. MORE

"There are always vacancies. Organizations are born, organizations expand, workers become restless, quit, change jobs, move, become ill long-term, or become handicapped, retire, or die. There are always jobs out there waiting to be filled. The fact that you can't find those jobs only means the vacancy hasn't been advertised, or you're not using the right method to find it. When the Internet or job-postings, or agencies, or ads, or resumes, don't work, there are other ways of turning up the job you want. So, if you're coming up 'empty,' you need to change the search method you've been using. ... To speed up your search for one of the jobs that are out there, go after many different organizations, instead of just one or two."
